I had the soundboard, which is missing the first two tracks, so I got your version to compare. The first two songs are from a hollow sounding audience recording, but both have blazing jams. The remainder is the soundboard. It does not sound like a matrix, which i understand to be a merging of two separate recordings, rather it sounds like the soundboard, perhaps gently remastered, if anything. It's my understanding that this is a "mix" containing the best available source.
The soundboard I had was only broken into two tracks, one being more than 40 minutes long, while your version is indexed and has song titles, plus yours is more complete. I think the band is hot on this night (as usual), particularly on Tangled Hangers and Rigor Mortis. However, the lead guitars are much too low in the mix on the soundboard, otherwise the sound is outstanding. If you like bass guitars, the soundboard is really stunning and Bobby Vega was a superb bass player.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I consider matrix to be the mix of two or more sources, not necessarily within a track. You were right, the first two tracks were remastered audience, because never existed as soundboard, so I combined audience recordings with the rest of the soundboard. Yes, there was a bit of remastering just to wide a freq spectrum.
