PINK FLOYD - Birmingham Lord Snooty

Post by admin » Sun Jun 08, 2014 2:22 pm

Town Hall, Birmingham, England
February 11, 1970
Lord Snooty Low Gen Cassettes

CD 1:
1. The Embryo
2. Main Theme from More
3. Tuning
4. Careful With That Axe, Eugene
5. Sysyphus

CD 2:
1. Heart Beat, Pig Meat
2. Quicksilver
3. Moonhead
4. The Violent Sequence
5. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
6. The Amazing Pudding

This recording has a presence and immediacy missing from all the other circulating copies and transfers and the overbearing background noise common to most copies is much reduced.

IMO, this source 'sounds like' the lowest gen unprocessed source to have surfaced so far and is a welcome improvement to an important document in the history of Pink Floyd.
