There is very strong possibility that Disc 2 (The Sessions) is a fake and that the recording don't have anything to do with Derek And The Dominos.
I left it only for the sake of the completeness of 2-disc set.
My guesses are that the recording is from the eighties, hence the drums pan that was typical for the period.
The guitar player could not be Clapton, because the way of constructing solos differs from anything we heard from him.
Anyway, the first disc is well worth the efforts of dowloading this set.
