(1) I offer this clarification to any of my fellow PR Friends who may have shared my trepidation about this one - especially in light of the discrepancy between the attached artwork and the posted set list: This is (thankfully) NOT the show that spuriously(*) circulates as "Newport Pop Festival, Devonshire Downs, Northridge, CA, 21 June 1969" - which the artwork may have lead you to suspect. This IS "Newport Jazz Festival, Newport, RI, 4 July 1969", as described in Robert's setlist above. Which is WAY better.
(2) Thanks again, Robert, for sharing your Tull collection. I've picked up a few that were new to me, not the least of which being this one.
(*) As the 'Ministry of Information' Tull website advises: "the commonly available recording is really Stockholm, 9 Jan 1969, in the wrong order, at the wrong speed, with one track (For A Thousand Mothers) added from 21/5/70 NYC."
