Listening to this now, made me think of the incredible bassist (whom I now now know was David Brown) prowling around the stage,
Big, Black with a "Bobble Hat" on, really Low Slung Bass crouched in a Chuck Berry Kinda Look carrying the band!
Glad to know, even though I`m nearly 60, my memory has not let me down

Definitely very unique way of playing, unlike anyone at the time. Although he was not virtuoso (who cares anyway) I still believe that he was THE Santana bass player for all times. There were "better" players in the band afterwards, but Dave Brown gave the sound that was never repeated later by any of the "big name" bassist in the band.
